Uninstalling Licensing Software on Windows

You may want to remove the licensing software.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Note:

    If you are uninstalling licensing on a client workstation, only perform Step 5.

    From the Start menu, choose Mentor Licensing > lmtools. The LMTOOLS window opens.
  2. Shut down the license manager.
    1. Click the Start/Stop/Reread tab.
    2. Select the service you want to stop and click the Stop Server button.
  3. Remove the license service.
    1. Click the Config Services tab.
    2. Select the service you want to remove and click the Remove Service button.
  4. Close the LMTOOLS window.
  5. Remove the licensing software.
    1. From the Start menu, choose Mentor Licensing > Remove Licensing.
    2. Type Y and press the Enter key.
