Replacing a License File on Windows

You may need to replace a license file if you receive a renewed license.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. From the Start menu, choose Mentor Licensing > Configure Licensing.
  2. Repeat Steps 10 through 12 of “Installing and Configuring a License Server on Windows”.

Results

The installer comments out expired licenses in your license file. If your license file has soon-to-expire licenses, you must comment them out or remove them manually. For more information, refer to “Removing Expired Licenses From Your License File”.
